Base64 decode
Validate Base64 strictly, then decode UTF-8 text or inspect raw bytes.
Limits: 100,000 input UTF-16 units, 300,000 bytes, 1,000,000 output units; local worker timeout 10 seconds.
Choose options and convert. Input remains unchanged.

Input and results stay in this tab’s memory. They are not uploaded or placed in storage, analytics or logs. Only language, theme and an optional analytics choice are saved on this device. Analytics and advertising are inactive.

Conversion never overwrites the input. The first successful conversion input can be restored until Clear. Input, original and output stay only in this tab and clear on leaving or reloading.
Base64 represents bytes. UTF-8 mode encodes Unicode text to bytes and strictly decodes them. Hex mode uses byte pairs. Standard and URL-safe alphabets are separate; required padding or no padding must match the chosen mode. No whitespace is silently ignored.
Hex decoding displays and copies hex, while Download bytes writes the exact raw .bin bytes. UTF-8 decoding preserves BOM and controls, and text download writes the decoded bytes.
Component mode uses encodeURIComponent/decodeURIComponent. Whole URI uses encodeURI/decodeURI: syntax delimiters remain, and reserved percent escapes remain encoded when decoding. This does not parse, validate or visit a URL. Encoding escapes existing % again; decoding happens once.
Encoding uses %20 for space. Literal + becomes %2B in component mode; whole URI retains +. Decoding keeps + by default. The explicit form option changes only raw + to space before component decoding; %2B remains +.
Pasted CRLF/CR are retained in memory; typed breaks are LF. The fields display LF, while copy/download use the actual result. No Unicode normalization or trimming is applied.
Manual copying from the preview uses displayed LF endings. Download preserves the actual result.
