JSON validator
Check JSON syntax and find the exact error location, privately on your device.
Objects, arrays, strings, numbers, true, false and null are valid roots. Comments, trailing commas, NaN, Infinity and a BOM are rejected. This checks syntax, not a JSON Schema.
Ready for JSON.
Only whitespace outside strings changes. Large integers, decimal/exponent spelling, negative zero, string escapes, key order and duplicate keys are preserved. No code is executed. Duplicate names may behave differently in other applications.

How JSON processing works
Only whitespace outside strings changes. Large integers, decimal/exponent spelling, negative zero, string escapes, key order and duplicate keys are preserved. No code is executed. Duplicate names may behave differently in other applications.
Lines and columns start at 1; columns and offsets count UTF-16 units. CRLF is one line break. Errors at end of input point after the last unit. Pasted line endings may become LF.
Limits: 200,000 input UTF-16 units, 128 nested containers, 2,000,000 output units. Some emoji use two units. Processing uses a local worker with a 10-second timeout.
